Sat 6/12 - Wildberry Farm & Market in Gambrills - Wildberry Field Market

Sat 6/12 - College Park Aviation Museum - Plein Air Drawing: drawing at the College Park Aviation Campus - Lead by a professional artist through an hour long outside workshop, exploring different media as well.

Knits and Pieces, behind the Wawa on Bestgate Rd has a couple knitting classes..

Registration is open for is the second in their Technique Classes series called “A Series Of Hats”.  On Sat June 12th there will be Lace classes and July has two Short Rows and Mosaic Knitting classes.

Also, if you  need some help, check out their Knit Coaching sessions Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, at various times of day to best fit your schedule

Sat 6/12 - Turkish Marbling Workshop - learning how to apply marbled patterns to either a silk scarf or two flour sack tea towels, with multiple slots available

Sun 6/13 - Pysanky: Ukrankian Egg Decorating

Sun 6/13 - Batik Workshop, learning how to make your own fabric dyes, melting bees wax and using traditional tools to create art with fabric.

Registration is open for their Summer semester which starts at the end of June.  There are classes for kids as young as 8 going all the way up to adult classes.  Classes include Installation Art, Musical Play Production and Prop Building, Textile Art, Kids Art School, Beatmaking + Music Inspired Art, Nature Art, and Oil Painting.

In addition to their summer semester, check out upcoming camps and workshops such as Outdoor Sketch Nights, Outdoor Marbling Workshops, Ukranian Egg Decorating, Introduction to Batik, MAKE IT: Mosaic Tiles and more.

Also check out Art Farm’s Student Union Open Studio - for small groups of kids to use ArtFarm Studios space to create their own work and socialize with other young artists.
