Fri 1/11 through 2/22 - Howard County Arts Council is hosting HoCo Open - A non-juried annual exhibit celebrating artists who live, work or study in Howard County. Eligible artists, ages 18 and older, were invited to bring one piece of ready to hang original artwork to fill the gallery with great local art.

Fri 1/11 - Kids Night Out - with the movie Frozen - Drop the kids off for this monthly event. Kids will be with a fun, designated staff member to paint, eat pizza dna watch the movie Frozen while you spend some time running errands or just having some time to yourself. For ages 6 and up.

Tues - 1/15 - Pre-school book club - Sneezy the Snowman - Reading the book, Sneezy the Snowman and children get to paint a snowman of their own, as well.

Today 1/10 - 2pm - Mountain Road Library - E-Reader Workshop - Did you just get a new e-reader? Bring your device in and learn about the library e-book and resources. Even if you didn’t get a dedicated e-reader like a Kindle, many of the library digital lending resources can be used with a regular iPhone, Android phone or iPad or Android tablet! And if you miss this session, any of your local library branches will be able to help you out with learning how to borrow e-books and other digital media from the library.

Tomorrow Fri 1/11 - Odenton - Storytime with a Veterinarian - Discover what a veterinarian does through stories, songs and hands-on pretend-play with their guest veterinarian. For ages 3 - 5

Sat 1/12 - Severn - Build a Pet Palace - Bring empty boxes to the library and build your small pet a fun palace! Design ideas and supplies for decorating will be provided. Registration is required

Mon 1/14 - Linthicum - Maker Mondays - With various STEAM activities each month

Wed 1/16 - Odenton - Breakerspace! - Take apart computers, toys, radios and other items to see what’s inside. Tools and safety gloves provided. Registration was required last week, unfortunately, but contact the Odenton library soon and see if there are still spots available.
