Tonight - Annapolis Maritime Museum - Winter Lecture Series continues with Submerged Aquatic Vegetation: Restoration Strategies for the Chesapeake Bay. Dr Stephen Ailstock will be discussing the many techniques used to propagate Bay grasses that were pioneered at the Environmental Center of Anne Arundel Community College.

Saturdays in February - Historic Londontown Gardens - Winter Lecture Series: African American Experience. This Saturday will be “Historical Character Interpretation: Connecting the Dots”. Brenda Parker shows how to create a more complete story of African American people in the past using various available resources.

Art Farm - Annapolis

Sat 2/16 - Marbling Day - Drop in between noon and 4pm and marble a silk scarf or paper. We did this during the last Chocolate Binge Festival and the scarfs come out really awesomely.

Tomorrow night - FinArt in Annapolis is having a gallery show with live music from four amazing bands, Tess Crawford, Shawn Shakya, Wyght Gold and Rivka, as well as special guests Ryan Walsh and Christian Pruitt. Doors open at 7pm, there’s a $5 cover and you’re welcome to bring your own liquid refreshments.

Sat 2/16 - Meet Mary Banneker - Mary Banneker was a key part of her community and family. Learn how Mary prepared for winter by drying herbs, sewing blackets and using plants to care for her family in the 1700s.

Mon 2/18 - Annapolis (2000 Capital Dr) - Museum on the Move - Exploring the lives of famous African American Marylanders, history, culture, art and STEM with museum educators from the Banneker-douglass Museum. Call to register.

Mon 2/18 - Brooklyn Park - Slime Time - Make your own custom clime to take hom!

Mon 2/18 - Crofton - 3D Print Design Class - Use Tinkercad to design a 3D object to be printed after the event. Laptops are available for the first 20 students to use.

Tomorrow 2/15 - Monthly Game Night! Board games, card games, from simple to complex, we have a little bit of everything. If you’re interested in tabletop, analog gaming, come by, hang out and play a few games!

Tuesday - 2/19 - We starting up a new monthly meet talking about CAD/CAM and CNC routers with Autodesk Fusion 360. Beyond just 3D modeling, Russ will discuss CAM programming, setting up the router as well as router maintenance and improvements.

Mondays are official Woodworking Night - If you want to get into woodworking or want to pick someone’s brain on a project you’re working on, drop by on Mondays to meet other local woodworkers.
