Today at 11am (4/23) - The Children’s Theater of Annapolis is having an Acting Workshop for ages 8-14. Kids will learn actor’s warm-ups, work on character development and scene study as well as do a monologue coaching session.


Tonight 4/23 - Check out Annmarie Garden’s Virtual Bad Art Night: Socially Awkward Edition - Hosted every other Thursday, this is a session of crafting hilarity attempting to craft bad art from stuff you have laying around the house. This session’s theme is the Food Wrapper Challenge


Also tonight, a Painting Demonstration and Gallery Walkthrough with Sally Davies at Maryland Hall - She’ll demonstrate how she plans out a painting, utilizing preliminary sketches, color studies and building translucent layers on the canvas. Explore her creative process and check out a gallery talk and ask questions.


Finally tonight 4/23, check out Chris Pagent of Wednesday Studios in a 3D Sculpture class


B&O Railway Museum has their storytimes and activities from this past week all recorded and ready to watch any time.

Annapolis Towne Centre, Symmetry Agency and Annapolis Musicians Fund for Musicians (AMFM) continue their online streaming concert series with NickDePietro (of the Vibesman) tonight, Mac & Blue tomorrow, Charles Kavoossi with Jessie Dean on Saturday, Timmie Metz on Sunday, Ray and Savannah Weaver on Monday, Noelle & Jeff Packett on Tuesday, J & Todd Kreuzburg on Wednesday.. In addition to great live streaming music, they'll be matching dollar for dollar every donation made by the end of April, up to $5,000 to help out Annapolis Musicians Fund for Musicians (AMFM) and all the great local musicians put out by the cancellation of gigs.

Summer art camps registration is open for camps starting at the end of June, early July. Camps include Pencil/Charcoal/Ink and Paint, Crafters Art Camp, Musical Play Production Camp, Mixed Media Mosaics, Mixed Media Sculpture, “Art Annapolis” Camp, Street Art, Graffiti and Public Art, and Graphic Design Camp!

There’s still time to sign up for Mixed Media for ages 8-15, Watercolor for ages 13-adult, Virtual Nature Art for ages 8-15, Sumi-E for ages 8-adult and Virtual Acrylic Painting for ages 13-adult. Check out their Pay it Forward to the Arts program - Just purchase a gift card from your favorite local restaurant or other merchant and donate that card to Maryland Hall. They’ll use that gift card as part of their silent auction at their Arts Alive celebration in September.
